Healthy Weight Range for Your Height
Find the healthy weight range for your height, computed from the BMI band of 18.5–25. Because BMI = weight_kg ÷ height_m², a healthy weight is simply 18.5 × height_m² at the low end and 25 × height_m² at the high end. For someone 1.75 m tall that works out to roughly 56.7 kg to 76.6 kg; for 1.60 m it is about 47.4 kg to 64.0 kg. Enter your height (in centimetres or inches) and the calculator returns your personal range in kilograms, alongside your current BMI and how it classifies on both the WHO and Asian/ICMR scales. Keep in mind this is a screening band, not a target weight: muscle mass, frame size and fat distribution all shift where a healthy weight actually sits for you, so read the range alongside a body-fat or waist measurement rather than treating it as a precise goal.
Healthy weight = 18.5 × height_m² to 25 × height_m²
- Height 1.75 m → ≈ 56.7–76.6 kg
- A screening band, not a goal weight — pair with a body-fat measure
Frequently asked questions
How do I find a healthy weight for my height?
Multiply the healthy BMI cutoffs by your height in metres squared: 18.5 × height_m² gives the low end and 25 × height_m² gives the high end. For 1.75 m that is 18.5 × 3.0625 ≈ 56.7 kg to 25 × 3.0625 ≈ 76.6 kg. This tool computes the range automatically from the height you enter.
Is the healthy weight range a target weight?
No. It is a screening band based on BMI, not a personal goal. Muscle mass, frame size and where you store fat all affect what a healthy weight is for you individually, so treat the range as general guidance and pair it with a body-fat percentage or waist measurement.
