Business Days Calculator (working days between dates)
Count the business (working) days between two dates — the weekdays from Monday to Friday, minus public holidays — for SLAs, payment terms, notice periods and delivery estimates. The calculator counts every weekday from the start date through the end date inclusive, then subtracts US federal holidays, observing the standard rule that a holiday landing on a weekend rolls to the nearest weekday (Saturday to Friday, Sunday to Monday). From 1 January 2026 to 31 January 2026 there are 22 weekdays; removing the two weekday federal holidays in that range — New Year’s Day (Jan 1) and Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Jan 19) — leaves 20 business days. The math runs on UTC midnights so a day is always a full calendar day, and everything is computed in your browser. This is the working-days answer that a plain day count cannot give.
